On Nov 1, 2025, I presented and moderated the discussions on the book That Hair by Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida at the EU Book Club. The event was organized by the Consulate General of Portugal in Vancouver and EUNIC Canada-Vancouver, and hosted by the Alliance Française. November 2025 was dedicated to a book from Portugal, and the discussions were lively and profound about this significant novel by Pereira de Almeida, also analysing a few aspects of Portuguese literature and culture.
